Target audience: the advanced training course is available to individuals who hold (or are currently pursuing) a higher or secondary vocational education in the relevant field, or who have completed professional retraining in the corresponding area.

- to have a basic understanding of hydrometeorological and geological conditions for the construction and operation of offshore field development facilities;
- to apply at a basic level the scheme of hydrocarbon extraction and development of offshore fields in order to choose the optimal method of field operation;
- to evaluate the selection and combination of components of production systems for offshore fields (including underwater systems);
- to conduct a comparative analysis of different production systems in terms of efficiency, maintenance, safety, etc.;
- to perform calculations necessary for selecting components of production and development systems;
- distinguish between types of offshore facilities and structures, both fixed and floating, and use the appropriate terminology;
- understand the purpose and conditions of use of equipment used in the construction of offshore facilities;
- choose options for decommissioning offshore facilities.
About course: improvement of professional competencies of specialists in the field of above-water and underwater development and operation of offshore fields, taking into account the conditions of their application and reliability requirements, in order to optimize projects and the performance of individual components of offshore structures and systems as a whole.
