- monitoring and controlling the technological process of process block‑modules that are part of a mobile process unit, in manual and automatic modes;
- performing analytical monitoring, processing its results, and making decisions to adjust the technological process;
- making decisions on further management (adjustment) of the technological process in case of malfunctions in one of the process block‑modules;
- understanding the interconnections between the process block‑modules of a mobile process unit;
- forecasting technological process parameters when changing parameters in one or a group of process block‑modules;
- proficient operation of the automated process control system (APCS) and the emergency shutdown system of a mobile process unit;
- safe execution of work during maintenance of equipment that is part of a mobile process unit.
