- evaluate the quality of the initial results of laboratory studies;
- select only the data necessary for building geological models from the entire volume of core data;
- consider the stages, tools, and methods of conducting facies-cyclic analysis when creating geological models;
- apply sedimentology in various areas of geology.
About course: improvement of professional competencies of specialists in the field of lithological and facies analysis of terrigenous strata, which allows for taking research results into account when creating geological models, conducting facies-cyclic, electrophacies, and seismophacies analysis, and performing chronostratigraphic correlation in order to improve the quality of forecasts.
