Target audience: the advanced training course is available to individuals who hold (or are currently pursuing) a higher or secondary vocational education in the relevant field, or who have completed professional retraining in the corresponding area.
Studying methods: lecture, seminar, briefing, independent homework, case study, research project, problem solving, calculations, graphing, planning and analysis of laboratory experiments, modeling, group discussion, training, exercises, coaching, and round table.
After of course, participants will be: to improve professional competencies as reflected in practical abilities:
- to apply enhanced waterflooding and chemical enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods to improve production;
- to manage projects related to planning and designing of enhanced waterflooding;
- to plan laboratory studies and interpret their results;
- to perform reservoir simulation (mathematical modeling of the reservoir);
- to calculate relative permeability and capillary pressure using laboratory tests.
About course: enhancing the professional competencies of specialists in enhancing reservoir oil recovery through waterflooding as the primary method of hydrocarbon production.
