Employees from four client companies visited a laboratory for reservoir fluid analysis IC GazInformPlast.
During the excursion, participants:
• became acquainted with the laboratory’s main areas of work, including analysis of the physical and chemical properties of oil, gas, and condensate, as well as the component and fractional composition of hydrocarbons;
• observed high‑tech equipment for chromatographic analysis and determination of gas calorific value in operation;
• learned about methods for determining viscosity, density, pour point, and fractional composition of petroleum products;
• asked questions to the laboratory’s leading specialists and discussed real‑world case studies from practice.
Additionally, the participants visited the I. K. Bazhenov Mineralogical Museum at Tomsk State University. The museum showcased an extensive collection of minerals and rocks, including meteorite fragments and unique specimens sourced from the Siberian region.
Training at the Academy of INGM combines a lecture programme with a practical component that includes educational excursions. In a relaxed atmosphere, the process of knowledge consolidation occurs more quickly and effectively.
