After of course, participants will be: to enhance professional competencies reflected in knowledge and skills.
- identify various forms of carbonate deposit occurrence based on geological and geophysical data;
- determine carbonate rock types using thin sections;
- take into account the origin and occurrence patterns of carbonate deposits, lithofacies structure, and regional distribution of reefs and other organogenic structures during regional reservoir prediction;
- conduct facies analysis to forecast carbonate and reef reservoirs and estimate reserves;
- identify reservoir type and development approaches.
Course objective: professional development of specialists in carbonate and reef reservoir characterization to support practical activities in prospecting, exploration, and deposit modelling.
