On April 1, 2026, in Kumertau, training was launched as part of a series of courses provided by the «Academy of Petroleum and Gas Field Engineering» for employees OYLTIMMASH under the proprietary advanced training programme «Materials Science».
During the training, course participants will deepen their knowledge to:
• justifyably select metal product ranges, steel grades, and types of pipeline valves, taking into account wall thickness and design features;
• conduct expert assessment of the physical and mechanical properties of metals and evaluate their weldability;
• determine effective methods of material processing;
• apply anticorrosion protection and industrial insulation technologies to enhance product durability;
• choose optimal processing methods based on engineering tasks and structure types;
• carry out comprehensive quality control, including steel grade identification, defect detection, laboratory testing, and product rejection procedures.
