On June 1, 2026, in Sochi, the launch of a professional programme was announced «Sedimentology: Lithofacial and Formation Analysis of Oil and Gas‑Bearing Sedimentary Complexes» in Academy of Petroleum and Gas Field Engineering
During the five‑day course, participants will acquire knowledge and skills in the field of lithofacies analysis of terrigenous sequences. This enables them to: incorporate research results into geological model development; conduct facies‑cyclic, electrofacies, and seismic facies analysis; perform chronostratigraphic correlation — all aimed at improving the quality of geological predictions.
