July 3, 2026, in Moscow the training under the professional advanced training program has been completed «Rock Physics for Modelling Effective Physical Properties of Reservoir Rocks» was launched in Moscow at the Academy of Oil and Gas Field Engineering.

Upon completion of the training, the participants expanded their competencies in exploration geophysics — they mastered the tools of the effective medium theory (Rock Physics) to establish the relationship between the microstructure and material composition of reservoir rocks and their key physical properties, such as elastic wave velocities, thermal and electrical conductivity, and hydraulic permeability.
