The objectives of the 5‑day course are to: build specialists’ understanding of the goals and tasks of well operation modeling; study the required scope of input data (fluid properties, flow geometry, reservoir characteristics, and boundary conditions); master the construction of models for flowing and artificially lifted wells; understand how to couple a reservoir hydrodynamic model with the gathering system; learn to model potential complications in well production; acquire skills in analyzing modeling results and justifying well operating parameters.
