Target audience: the advanced training course is available to individuals who hold (or are currently pursuing) a higher or secondary vocational education in the relevant field, or who have completed professional retraining in the corresponding area.
Studying methods: lecture, seminar, conversation, briefing, independent homework, business game, group discussion, problem solving, calculations, and graphing.
After of course, participants will be: to improve professional competencies as reflected in practical abilities:
- to justify the selection of well design in relation to the profile of directional and horizontal wells;
- to justify the choice of drilling equipment;
- to analyze the behavior of steerable and non‑steerable bottomhole assemblies (BHA) in the wellbore;
- to select completion and reservoir exposure schemes for horizontal wells;
- to interpret and analyze data from measurement systems supporting the drilling process;
- to control the well in case of gas, oil, or water influx (kick).
