Studying methods: lecture, seminar, independent homework, case study, problem solving, calculations, graphing, group discussion, and exercises.
After of course, participants will be: to enhance professional competencies reflected in knowledge and skills.
- to assess the profile and composition of the inflow of production wells;
- identify the source of well water flooding, assess the potential of R&D;
- find intervals of gas breakthrough;
- assess the technical condition of wells;
- select recommendations for geological and technological measures, optimize production based on the results of interpretation of field geophysical studies;
- use fiber-optic data to continuously monitor the profile and composition of the inflow;
- understand the behavior of geophysical fields in the case of horizontal wells;
- to assess the economic efficiency of conducting geophysical surveys of production wells.
About course: improvement of professional competencies of specialists in the field of monitoring the development of hydrocarbon fields, diagnosing problems faced by subsoil users, and identifying potential for increasing production based on the results of well geophysical surveys and technologies for continuous monitoring of development using downhole telemetry based on geophysical sensors; study of techniques and algorithms for interpretation, acquisition of skills for working within one of the automated interpretation systems used in the industry for solving specific tasks of identifying and evaluating the profile and composition of inflow, and monitoring the technical condition of wells.
